After returning from a much-needed vacation and podcast hiatus, Jasmine Nicole reflects on the profound lessons she learned from stepping away and allowing life to unfold naturally. She shares how taking a break not only helped her avoid burnout but also revealed the value of trusting that the energy and effort we invest will manifest in their own time. Unexpectedly, her podcast continued to grow during her absence, reinforcing the importance of letting go of constant striving and allowing momentum to develop organically.
Drawing from her travels across Florida, New York, and San Francisco, Jasmine explores themes of personal growth, self-reflection, and the power of intentional living. A meaningful reunion with an old college friend inspired deeper introspection about identity, evolution, and the choices that shape our future. She encourages listeners to focus on who they are becoming rather than where they came from, to surround themselves with supportive people, and to recognize that their greatest limitations are often self-imposed.
Ultimately, this episode is a reminder that sometimes the most productive thing we can do is pause, recharge, and gain perspective. By trusting the journey, making conscious choices, and embracing continuous growth, we can create lives that are aligned with our highest aspirations and purpose.
Hi, I'm Jasmine Nicole. Welcome to the Motivational Mystic. A space for authentic higher conscious conversations to motivate, inspire, and empower. Thanks for listening. Each week I'll drop a new conscious raising episode. Let's dive in. Hello everyone. I am back after a few weeks of a well-needed break and vacation. I've been traveling, stopping to see some family, and it was well needed, more than I knew. Taking breaks, taking a beat, taking time to just let go and let life flow is one of the main things I've recognized throughout taking this time off. Where if you're anything like me, I'm a very goal-oriented person. I just cross things off of my list and hop on to the next thing. And that's good, of course, to be able to accomplish the things you want to accomplish and keep good momentum going. But you can't do it at the expense of your well-being and burning out. And that's one of the biggest things I've learned with taking time off is just to let go and let life flow. And the interesting thing about that is that during that hiatus period, that time just taking a break, the podcast numbers increased tremendously. So that also taught me a really valuable lesson of sometimes you have to take a step back and let the hard work and energy that you've put out into the world, into the universe, manifest and evolve. Because sometimes people can be so hyper-focused, so fixated on just getting the next thing done and the next thing done and the next thing done, that you might also stifle your momentum. You might, in my scenario, stifle your creativity. And that was a very valuable lesson that I learned. Like, wow, I'm very passionate about motivating people. I'm very passionate about being consistent with getting these podcast episodes out. But I have produced a lot, and people have been very receptive to it. And I'm immensely grateful for it. But sometimes you have to take a step back and really enjoy the payoff of your creation, of your efforts. Taking that time off allowed me to do that, and I had better recognition that, wow, I'm really connecting with people. We're really building community here, and I'm very grateful for my listeners, the fellow mystics out there, especially the consistent listeners that have been tuning in. And people are tuning in from all over the world. I'm here in America, in the Metro DC area, but I've got people tuning in from Europe, from Africa, from Asia, from all over. And it's been really cool just being able to connect with people all over the world. And those people resonating with the messages and the content that I'm putting out. That motivates me. That fuels my fire to just continue moving forward. Because there's people out there that may find themselves in the same scenarios and situations that I found myself in or have experienced. I document those experiences and lessons along the way. And hey, other people may experience, feel, or think the same way that I have. And it's really cool to, in a sense, know that you're not alone. You're not alone. And I've mentioned in previous episodes, life is a journey, it's not a destination. You learn something new every day. We are people that evolve every day, especially if you're intentional about your growth. You're not someone that's complacent or stagnant. Like myself, I consider myself a student of life. I love to learn. I'm always evolving, I'm always growing and adapting to the things that I learn, and the growth that it inspires. So there's people out there like that, apparently, that resonate with the same message. So thank you. And it's been really cool to sit back and recognize that sometimes it's good to take a step back, to let go and let life flow. Life, your creative endeavors, your economic or career pursuits, it's going to unfold the way it's meant to, the way it's divinely meant to. I've mentioned many times before my belief, especially in the quantum physics aspect of our existence. If you put energy out into the universe, it has to go somewhere. So just have faith and trust that in the right time, in divine timing especially, those efforts will pay off. Just having immense trust and faith in that was one of the biggest lessons I learned with taking a vacation. And with vacation this year, I stayed in the country. I went to St. Petersburg in Tampa, Florida, where I was able to enjoy the beach life, get some snorkeling in, and really relax. Then I was able to meet up with some family for a family barbecue in New York. And after that, I went to San Francisco, which was probably my best trip. And it's interesting to say that because I'm such a beach person. I would think the beach part of my vacation would be the best. But San Francisco is a really cool place to visit. It's a really cool place to go out and be in nature, go hiking, sightseeing, eat amazing food. And I ended up spontaneously reconnecting with an old friend from college, which was unexpected, but pretty amazing. Being able to learn from that individual things, I don't even think he recognized that he taught me. Most importantly was the need and value of personal growth. Evolving, maturing, and growing as an individual. And really just reinforcing the importance of it's not where you come from that matters, but it's where you are going and who you want to be, who you choose to be, who you step into becoming is really key. We all come from different walks of life. And just because you might come from humble beginnings, or maybe even some might come from a troubled background, that shouldn't define you. It shouldn't define you who you are, where you are, and where you want to go, and ultimately who you want to become. Yeah, so reconnecting with that old friend was really eye-opening in more ways than I realized until I got back home. And seeing that growth, seeing that evolution in that particular person really just made me get to a point of being introspective. And obviously, I've talked about the beauty and importance of being introspective before in episode four, but I think it's just the scenario where this individual made me get to a point of where I felt the need to step it up a level more. And really just recognizing to look at life as a canvas. You are the artist. What do you want to create? What is the picture you want to paint? What do you envision? What do you see for yourself? And make it happen. There is no reason why you can't. The only limitation you have in this world are self-limitations. The ones you accept and put on yourself. If you put in the time, the effort, and do the work to accomplish your goals, to get to where you want to be, there's nothing or no one that can stop you. Only you can get in your own way. So yeah, it was really cool to have that almost elevated sense of being in an introspective state and saying, How can I take that a step further? How can I kick it up a notch? Am I still maybe playing an old story in my head about things I've already overcome? Why continue to let those things pull at you if you've already overcome them? You've already surpassed these scenarios, situations, or people. Focus on what's next. Don't focus on where you came from. Focus on where you're going. Growth, evolution, advancement, prosperity. What is it that you as an individual want to achieve in your own personal life story? What does your happy ending look like? What is the ultimate goal? And remembering not to let anyone or anything get in your way. I was also reminded, a big part of that is just recognizing who you allow to have access to you, who you tell your dreams and your life goals to really matter. I know I elaborated on that a bit more in a previous episode. I believe it was episode two, outgrowing people is a sign that you're evolving. But I think that notion was really emphasized with coming back into contact with this individual. Just making sure you have the right people, the right energy around you when you're becoming the person you want to be, or even when you have become the person you want to be. You want to make sure you have the right energy around you that is supportive and going in the same direction that you're going. And they're not necessarily acting as an anchor or an obstacle, or just throwing a monkey wrench in your advancement, your prosperity, your happiness. You really have to be selective of the people you allow to have access to you. Making the right lifestyle choices for a life filled with happiness and success are important. Are the choices you're making in your life currently conducive to living a long, healthy, prosperous life? Or are they detrimental to it? Are the choices you're making in the highest alignment of what you could be doing to be more productive, to be more creative, to be more healthy? Just really putting into perspective the power of choice. I will say that is one of the major things reconnecting with this old friend of mine brought to the forefront of my mind. And one of the biggest lessons I took away and I'm coming back with is the power of choice. Whether that's choosing who you want to be, where you want to go, or how you want to live, are the choices you are making based off of the lifestyle you desire. So yeah, soaking all that in made me come back recharged, re-energized, rejuvenated, and more ready to create, to inspire, to motivate. So it was a necessary pause I needed to take, and with taking that pause, it led me to a powerful reconnection that I'm very grateful for. Taking the time to take a break, to step back, to almost have an outsider's view of my life. Looking at things I've been doing, the things I've been working towards, taking time away from it, stepping away, so you can see all the things you've put into play, put into practice so far, and appreciate it. You can also evaluate it and see where it is that you may be able to fine-tune or refine some things, or do more of some things and less of others, or even change things up and go in a different direction. So, yeah, I just wanted to pop in and share some of my insights from my travels, my epiphanies, my downloads, as I like to call them, that came to me along the way. I look forward to getting back in the swing of things, pumping out more conscious raising content, and in the next few weeks, there'll be more surprises coming down the pike. Stay tuned for that and let's continue this journey together. So, until next time, everyone, goodbye.
